Stefano Di Puma, born in 1986 in Milan, Italy, is an indie rock musician based in Berlin. With a passion for music since the age of 12, Stefano began his musical journey singing, playing bass, drums, and guitar, releasing music and performing in various festivals, venues and bars in northern Italy. His early experiences shaped his eclectic musical style and fueled his desire to explore different genres in between grunge, new wave, folk, pop, rock’n roll, hard rock and electronic music.

He moves to Stockholm in 2011 to complete his studies as Master of Art in New Technologies applied to Art and to study music, in summer 2014 he tours Germany and in the winter of the same year he moves to Berlin to find new projects and partnerships. He starts his journey between art and music, on one side working with major international contemporary artists and on the other being part of the underground Berlin music scene. He found himself drawn to the vibrant Balkan folk scene, collaborating with orchestras and performing across Europe. He than immersed himself in the rich tapestry of sounds and influences performing in bands across genres: from traditional balkan folk to Rock´n Blues, synth pop and psychedelic prog rock. In 2019 he found the Hypernatural Recordings label throw which he familiarize with italo disco and techno.

Stefano’s artistic endeavors are not limited to music and art alone. His deep interest in humanities, psychology, sociology, art, and culture seep into his songwriting, resulting in deeply introspective and existential lyrics that resonate with people from all walks of life. Drawing inspiration from artists like Burroughs, Bowie, Cobain, and the Beatles, Stefano employs the cut-out technique to explore the psycho-sociocultural reality, offering a unique perspective on the human experience.
