For a summer tour through Hungary in 1996 the “angels” are looking for a drummer and Kay is there. Making a mighty step towards the musical future Gogo, Yensin, Kurci and Kayfound in 2000 the band Mamasweed with their friend Oli at the keys they soon release their first album “American Space Cake”. It is happening in rapid succession, and in 2002 the legendary Mamasweed studio was founded on Paul-Lincke-ufer in Berlin – Kreuzberg together with the band’s own label, which still exists today: Mamasweed – Music. The band is getting bigger, Arne on the keys and Pc on the guitar are added and Mamasweed’s second long player “Electric Zeppelin” is created in our own studio. In 2007 it is time to say good bye to the hustle and bustle of the studio and retreat to a place away from the lively Kreuzberg life. The album “Girls Girls Girls” is created in the Berlin – Rummelsburger rehearsal room studio. In 2009, Yensin decided to go other ways and left Mamasweed. Gabe – guitar & vocals and Joe – bass & vocals are integrated into the Mamasweed band. The fourth Mamasweed’s album “Rock’n’Roll is not dead” is recorded in Rummelsburg’s rehearsal room studio. Since 2014 reunited with Kurci on bass, Mamasweed produce numerous tracks that are published by Mamasweed-music.
